    How Does Coastal Rides Work? Coastal Rides connects people who need to get somewhere or need something delivered to drivers who are able to help. When you make a request through our app or web booker the nearest drivers are automatically notified of your request. You will see a fare estimate in the app and payment is via credit card in the app, no more wondering if you have enough cash to get home.   • What locations do you serve and what are your hours?
    We operate in British Columbia, Canada. We have drivers based in Sechelt, Gibsons, Comox Valley, Campbell River, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Tofino, Ucluelet, Squamish and Fort St. John. We offer long distance trips across Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast as well. On the lower Sunshine Coast, we have drivers online from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. weekdays and until 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday. We will also do earlier and later pickups if booked in advance.   • I got charged for a ride I cancelled
    When you book a ride, our system does a pre authorization for the ride fare. If you cancel before the driver starts to drive to pick you up, the pre-authorization is cancelled and there is no cancelation fee. If you cancelled after the driver starts to drive to pick you up, a cancelation fee may be charged. See our Cancelation Policy for details.   • What check do you do on drivers?
    Drivers must meet strict requirements to drive with Coastal Rides. All drivers are required to pass background checks for criminal history and safe driving. All vehicles must pass commercial vehicle inspections every 6 to 12 months.Few readers
  • I can't login, I do not receive a code
    Phone numbers from some countries are currently having issues recieving the validation code via text message or voice call. Please contact support@sparelabs.com for assistance retrieving a code to log in to the app or web booking system.Few readers
  • How do I get my receipt?
    Receipt links are sent via email and text after your ride is completed.  If you didn't receive a link, please use our chat support or email us at contact@support.coastalrides.ca and be sure to provide the email or phone number associated with your account and we will send you a copy of the link.Few readers
